Donald Trump, the 45th President of the United States is infected by the Virus from China.

The sequence of events to the morning of Sunday October 4, 2020 is summarized:                                                                                              Saturday, November 26: Rose Garden ceremony to announce Judge Amy Coney Barrett as nominee to fill the new vacancy on the US Supreme Court. Several attendees including POTUS Donald Trump and FLOTUS Melania Trump are likely infected. Three senators, the Trump campaign manager, the Chair of the Republican National Committee, two presidential advisors, and the President of the University of Notre Dame, also attendees, subsequently test positive for the Virus,

Thursday evening, October 1: The White House announces that both Donald and Melania Trump test positive. The White House Physician states that the president has at most mild symptoms.

Friday, October 2: Early day reports that the president has cough, lethargy, nasal discharge, and possibly fever, but doing well. Suddenly the president is helicoptered to Walter Reed Army Medical Center “out of an abundance of caution.” Melania Trump remains at the White House since her symptoms of infection remain slight. The President walks under his own power to the helicopter after issuing a video attesting that he is OK.

Saturday noon, October 3: Dr. Sean Conley, the Navy presidential physician, gives a news conference on the steps of Walter Reed. He affirms that POTUS was doing well and has been afebrile for the previous 24 hours. The hostile presidential press corps questioned Conley’s optimistic prognosis and disputed whether Trump received oxygen therapy. Conley answered that the President was not receiving oxygen at Walter Reed.

Saturday early afternoon, October 3: Mark Meadows, the President’s Chief of Staff, convenes an “off the record” huddle with the White House press pool, in which he pessimistically undercuts Dr. Conley’s optimism. Meadows asserted that the president’s deteriorating condition late Friday afternoon was the reason to transport him to the hospital. Meadows amplified that the president’s oxygen saturation levels plummeted; he possibly was short of breath; and his appearance alarmed his doctors. This conversation allowed a very willing press to attack both Conley and Trump for their lack of transparency. How could the Chief Presidential Staffer be so stupid politically to cause such confusion?

Saturday evening, October 3: President Trump issues a positive four minute video from the Hospital to reassure and calm.
