JOE BIDEN: HEALTH of THE 2020 CANDIDATES III. ADDENDUM

Joe Biden released records of his medical history on December 17, 2019. Previously, it had been a number of years since his current medical condition had been made public. The health summary announced was not dated, but presumably it was the result of a recent medical examination.

“Vice President Biden is a healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the Presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State, and Commander in Chief,” said Dr. Kevin O’Connor, who served as Biden’s doctor while he was vice president.” It would have been beyond shocking if his physician has said otherwise.*

“O’Connor noted that Biden is being treated for non-valvular atrial fibrillation, hyperlipidemia, gastroesophageal reflux and seasonal allergies. Non valvular atrial fibrillation can cause blood to pool in the heart, which heightens the risk of blood clots and strokes if untreated, while hyperlipidemia occurs when there is a high concentration of fats or lipids in the blood.” *

Of interest since Mr. Biden had a remote history of intracranial bleeding and now has a reputation for bizarre and inappropriate remarks, that there was no mention of a neurological or mental examination.

Colonel O’Connor is a graduate of the New York College of Osteopathic medicine and was appointed to the White House Medical Unit in 2006. He assumed the medical care of Vice President Biden and the Biden family in 2009.

It would be a good time for Vice President Biden to retire. Anything more exposes him to unnecessary and probably unkind risk.

His role in the Hunter Biden employment fiasco is not defensible.
